Trafina is focused on growth: dynamic growth through mergers, exploitive growth through the drilling of coal bed methane assets and portfolio growth through exploration. Trafina's plan is to stay disciplined financially and increase its operatorship as it grows.
History
Trafina Energy was formed as a junior oil and gas company in December 1991. In October 2008, Trafina made a fresh start with the appointment of a reconstituted board of directors and a new president, chief financial officer and manager of engineering. The Company has primarily been a natural gas producer.
Trafina is a junior oil and gas company based in Calgary, Alberta. The Company's main areas of interest are in the Rangeview and Divide areas of southwest Saskatchewan and in the Pembina area of Alberta with other operated production in Wetaskawin, Retlaw and Ronalane in Alberta. Trafina also has non-operated production in Viking/Kinsella, Alberta and minor interests in Jenner and Carson Creek/Judy Creek, Alberta. Trafina's shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the stock symbol TFA.A.
